First Time in Belize, this finna be a Breeze pt. 4

Day 4 was a way more laid back vibe. Hopkins is the perfect beach town with good food and cool views. We wanted to chill and get to experience the city. When you’re there, the vibe is extra laid back, so we went with that.

The resort had some bikes they let you get for free. You just had to check them out, so we rode around town and got to see what was what.

I wanted to hit the jet ski’s b/c I’m a certified professional Jet Skier. There was an French Expat from Canada. He lived in an RV and rents out jet skis and that’s pretty much his life. I respect that. So my ole lady and I each got one for an hour. My ole lady was done with it after 15 minutes so I took her back in and and she just kicked it. I went back out and did my thing.

There were a bunch of kids that were kicking it with the jetski man b/c he had given them free rides the day before. They asked me to get them some marbles, so I did and you would have thought I bought them all PS4s. Kickin’ it with the kids was really dope and it gave me perspective.

After JetSki’s I was hungry so we shot back to the resort and I got a ten dollar lobster. Incredible!

We left there and went to ride around some more and caught Delia’s gift shop. I bought a necklace that is for protection and good vibes from the ancestors but also doubles as something you can use to start a fire. It’s pretty dope. Delia also may or may not have had that sack.

We also went and caught Garimaya gift shop, which is the biggest one in town. The owners are a married couple one is Garifuna and one is Mayan (hence Garimaya).

I got a couple souvenirs, the most interesting of which was a topsy turvy doll. This is basically a doll where a child could play with a doll that was black or brown, and flip to a white doll when Europeans were coming to bother them for nothing.

Overall it was a cool little laid back day.
